Early Mornings
Mon - Thurs 5.30am (Self Practice)
Fridays 6am (Mysore) (Doors open 5.30am)
Early Morning Pass (Mon-Fri): $100 per month
Drop-in Self Practice Pass: $10
Term 2 Early Morning Fri Mysore: $150
For those who have established practice we are open Monday to Friday early mornings. Doors Open from 5.30am. Finish by 7.30am.
Monday to Thursday is Self practice. Fridays (term time only) are teacher assisted Mysore Style (all levels welcome). Fridays class starts at 6am (doors open at 5.30am).
Monthly passes are available for early mornings (Mon-Fri included): $100 per month or $10 drop-in (by appointment).
If you wish to come to just the Friday early morning Mysore then these classes are $10 per class (drop-in pass) for the remainder of Term 1. Early Friday morning classes will be $150 for the term in Term 2 (starting 7th May).

Ashtanga yoga comes from an ancient tradition of practices designed to purify and unify mind, body and spirit. Taught in the traditional Open or Mysore style. Named after the Southern Indian city of Mysore, this is a very traditional and most effective method for learning Ashtanga Yoga.

Ashtanga yoga comes from an ancient tradition of practices designed to purify and unify mind, body and spirit. In these classes we move and breathe in unison. Starting with surya namaskāra (sun salutations) we work to develop internal focus through standing āsana (postures) and some seated asana of the Ashtanga Yoga series. We also explore the breathe and ways to apply our yoga practice to life off the mat.
Wednesdays's class is slower paced and shorter. Mondays class is stronger and longer than the Wednesday class. The intention of Monday's class is to build slowly towards a stronger half primary led class.
Led classes are not suitable for those rehabilitating or with injuries - better come to the Open / Mysore style classes.
Kids & Teen Classes

Ashtanga yoga comes from an ancient tradition of practices designed to purify and unify mind, body and spirit. Using traditional Ashtanga yoga āsana we work to build strength and flexibility, as well as internal focus and breathe awareness.
Kids need to be able to focus to get the full benefit from these classes. Some children are focussed and ready at a younger age. If you are unsure if this class is suitable for your child then feel free to email rika@buddhi.nz.
